Bonding Crystals

Diffusion-bonded, that is: firstly, after a series of surface treatment two crystals close together to form the optical cement at room temperature and then heat-treated crystal to form a permanent bonded without the case of other binders. Experiments shows that when the Non-depoed DBC crystal as end caps at both ends of the same matrix doped crystal, the end face temperature rise is very small, close to coolant temperature, a decrease of thermal lens effect and the distortion of the end face caused by thermal-induced wavelength shift of light split coated, is conducive to the stability of lasers and high-power laser operation. This bonding technology in laser applications can not only greatly improve the laser performance and beam quality, but also conducive to the intergration of laser systems and access to large-size crystal.
